Join St. John's River Water Management and Orange Audubon Society for tours of Lake Apopka Restoration Area and the Lake Apopka North Shore. Considered one of the top observation areas for inland, wetland birds in the state, Lake Apopka's North Shore will be showcased as part of Old Florida Outdoor Festival. Bird diversity is unparalleled, and includes more than 348 species observed. Visitors can also anticipate seeing other wildlife including alligators, turtles, otters and bobcats.
Tours will depart from Apopka Amphitheater promptly at their scheduled time. Please plan to arrive to 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway, Apopka, FL 32712, in front of the ticket booth (passenger busses will be in front), at least 10 minutes prior to scheduled departure. Tours are included with Festival admission. Please plan to bring your own binoculars, as only a few will be provided to share amongst the group.
